an integral part of any renovation project.  Whether you are a homeowner
putting finishing touches on a bathroom renovation, selecting accent paints
and fabrics, or are looking to design the perfect new kitchen; Sherwood’s
on staff decorator is available by request as a natural part of your
renovation evaluation. 


Our Specialty…Investor Property Staging
Beyond direct homeowner projects, Sherwood is a specialist in design,
décor selection and final staging of investment properties in preparation
for sale.  It’s a proven fact that a house displayed with finishing touches
and decorations to make the property feel like a “home,” can inspire
buyers.  This type of attention to detail brings a feeling of warmth to any
property, and starts the decorating process for those new homeowners
that would not otherwise have the expertise.  Gone are the days when
simple icebox-white or neutral palettes prove to be the best selling point. 
While a home buyer looks for property elements that are important to them
such as a garage, screened patio or laundry room; a large part of their decision-making process in today’s flooded marketplace will be based on how the place makes them feel.  Installation of custom décor and design that we call "icing" that the buyer gets the option to keep, makes a property truly stand out yet can be done very economically.  The average decorating and "icing" budget starts at around $1200 for a 3-bedroom 2-bath property.  This option is very inexpensive when compared to the potential months of mortgage costs and maintenance that might be incurred if the property sits on the market unsold for any length of time because it lacks a competitive edge.
