Sherwood Construction works with an array of specialty subcontractors in the Central Florida Area.  If you are a company that provides specialized contracting services and would like to apply for consideration to be added to our call list for estimating on projects and possible inclusion in our bid packages, we will need to receive the following documents and information from you.


Subcontractor Packet Checklist
These are the items that you will need to submit to be considered for work.  Please gather all items and submit as one single application packet.  Click on the links below to download and print each document.

  • Proof/Certificate of full liability Insurance
  • Proof/Certificate of full Workers Comp Insurance (workers comp exemptions not accepted)
  • Copy of your business license
  • A Sheet that includes your company name, address, phone number, contact person and how much you will be charging Sherwood construction per square foot (or equivalent) for any work, painting or installation (such as tile, carpet, wood flooring, etc.)

Please make Sherwood Construction, Inc. the Certificate Holder on insurance certificates and mail all of the above items in one envelope to:

Submission Packet Guidelines & Process:

  • We only accept subcontractor document packages via postal mail (address provided above).
  • Incomplete, illegible paperwork, unreadable photocopies or those submitted with expired licenses or insurance will not be considered.
  • Please do not send requested documents in multiple envelopes.  Any incompete application packet will be thrown away.  Unfortunately, we do not have time to hunt down missing items.
  • Subcontractors who do not provide us with a standard per sq foot or equivalent rates will not be included in any of our bids or project work.
  • You will get an email from us if your packet/application is approved.
  • Once you are an approved subcontractor added to our call list, please do not call us to check in looking for work.  Be assured that we will contact you if an appropriate project becomes open for estimating.
